    Hello Dinero,

    Greetings!

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

Based on the description, it appears that you are experiencing issues with your headset when connected on the Xbox device. Let us check on this together and sort this out. Rest assured that we will provide enough information on how to resolve your concern.

We would like to ask few questions to help us isolate the issue further.

    1. How is your headset connected in your Xbox Console? Is it through USB port or Bluetooth?

    2. Is it the first time you are using the headset in your Xbox Console?

    3. What is the make and model of your headset?

    4. What type of Xbox console are you using?

For the meantime, we can perform these troubleshooting steps to help resolve your concern.

    1. You can use the Xbox Accessories app to check the headset settings. On Xbox X|S and Xbox One consoles, you can access the Accessories app in the Settings menu: Profile & system > Settings > Devices & connections > Accessories. When you find the Headset screen in the Accessories app, select Configure to open the headset settings menu, and check the following:

    • Check the audio levels in the Equalizer to be sure they aren't set to the lowest possible setting.
    • If other players can’t hear you when you talk, try setting Auto-mute to Low or Off.
    • If you’re hearing distorted audio coming from your own mic, try setting Mic monitoring to Off.
    • You can select Restore to default to quickly reset the headset settings to their default values.
    2. Restart your headset.

    • Use the green power button on the back of the headset’s left earcup to turn the headset off. You should hear a power-down sound, and the power light (just above the power button) will turn off. Wait a few seconds and then press the power button again to restart the headset.
    3. Update your headset.

    • You can see if your headset’s firmware is up to date by clicking the () button on the headset settings screen. If a new update is available, select Update now to update your headset. (Even if no new update is available, you can still select Update now to re-install the most recent firmware.) This can take a few minutes – leave your headset turned on, motionless, and close to your console until the update is complete.
    4. Reset your headset.

To perform a hard reset of the headset.

    • Plug the USB-C cable into the headset and position yourself next to your console, (do not plug the other end of the USB-C cable into the console yet)
    • Hold down the headset’s power button and the mute button simultaneously (both buttons are located on the left earcup), and then quickly plug the USB-C cable into your console.
    • If the hard reset is successful, the headset should power off.
    • Turn the headset back on. (If you continue to hold down the power button throughout the hard reset process, the headset will power off and then power back on.) Note: If you hear a tone and the headset’s power light rapidly flickers orange and white, it means you have cleared the headset’s pairing info and not triggered a hard reset. If this happens, try the steps above again.

People in my parties say my XBox One mic is making "static" noises

I'm also getting the same problems. Being told my mic is producing a Static noise as you put it. I've unplugged the headset, I've blown into the mic to ensure it's not like dust scratching the mic contact or something. It seems to clear up for a moment
when I hold the Wire either where it connects to the controller, or the wire going into then earpiece on the headset. This is a temporary resolution and is not convenient at all whilst playing

There is no charging cable involved in my issue.

I'm kinda praying for the wireless headset, but I'm especially hoping this isn't a physical fault with the headset and is rather just a technical party issue, but that's unlikely

Windows 10 Xbox party is creating a constant static sound for everyone in the party except me

    Hi There,

It sounds like it may be your mic causing the static noise, do you perhaps have another headset or mic you can try to find out if it is the issue?

Why are my Xbox One headsets aren't working?

I'm having this issue to. When I first got the console, the headset was the only problem, as with all the hacks and problems, I just thought maybe I'm lucky with a once of problem. The headset made no noise when you turned it up, there was no static in the
ear piece which usually lets you know it's on, and when I went into upload studio to add a voice-over it just said 'please insert a mic etc etc'. So I took the mic back and got it replaced, and the mic made the static sounds, and the beeping noise when you
turn it up, but did it work? Nope. It doesn't say I'm speaking, I can't hear anyone, and the upload studio still tells me I have no headset in when I do. So exactly the same here.

This is an extreme annoyance, and a problem, and they really need to sort it out!
