My mic might be bugged

Somehow, someone joined my xbox party and either bugged the xbox party or my headset or my xbox. Possibly even my cell phone, and so I know this because someone who didn’t even join the party somehow heard my conversation with me and my friends. I was
also broadcasting the entire time but I had my mic off. I do have the mixer app installed on my phone. Also the person implied that they had been listening through my phone. So, is this possible and is there a way to fix this?

I had not checked that, but next time I broadcast I will check

Have you checked back on your Mixer page to watch the archive of the broadcast? Maybe your voice had been broadcasting even though you unchecked the microphone setting?

IP address can be hacked but I personally dont think xbox is the reason check the last couple of apps you downloaded on the phone check your internet search bar for Google is www.google.com and not the fake csa.google.com if you feel it's your xbox you
may have to do a full factory reset

Only one person joined and only for a few seconds, my theory is they had bugged the xbox party somehow

Maybe that person wanted to scare you.

Unless they have proof and could repeat what you talked about, he might just be bluffing.

Or your friends wanted to troll you, and the person was in the same room as one of your friends, and the friend had the conversation running over their TV speakers instead of the headset. So the person listened in on the conversation that way.

When you way you were broadcasting via your phone, how did you set your mic to off? Did you use the switch on the headset to mute the microphone, or did you disallow the Mixer App to use the microphone at all? Maybe the phone used it's internal microphone
to broadcast your conversation.

Without more details about your setup, we can only "guesstimate" what happened.
