My mic isn’t picking up my voice

So theres no visual damage to the mic and when it stopped picking up my mic prior there was no fall. All that happened was i went away and came back and like that it stopped picking up my voice.

Make sure that your console and controller are upto date. Then clean the jack with rubbing alcohol , let it dry . And do a hard reset . Also check your nat type as that could cause issues as well

Have you checked to make sure you don't have the audio set to off? I do that all the time. Alternatively the headset itself may need an update. What kind if headset is it?

create a static IP for the console,
and port forwarding on the network
configuration settings.
