Discus and support my mic has a long delay when i want to talk in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; my mic has a delay for around 1 minute and i hate it but i only got it on the new controller but my mic doesn't have the delay on my other controller....     my mic has a delay for around 1 minute and i hate it but i only got it on the new controller but my mic doesn't have the delay on my other controller.

    I don't think not talking on a mic has anything to do with being shy. Sometimes when I play I don't want to talk or listen to others, because I'm really focused on my personal stats. Other times playing with friends or even once in a while a random that has a mic, I'll talk because they are good at communicating what is happening in the game and we work as a team to win. Other times, I'll just be in a party playing a game and just talking with a bunch of friends having a good time.

    Mic stopped working all of a sudden!!! Please help

    I was playing nba 2k16 with my friends in a party then all of sudden I can no longer talk but I can still hear them. I haven't been able to talk for about 4 days now. I have tried a new mic but it has the same result. I have also tried all the trouble shoot
    stuff but it still does not work. When I'm in the party it says I have a mic but it does not light up when I talk. I have searched for answers but I have found nothing. Please help I'm thinking about just not playing xbox anymore.

    that didn't work. the mic symbol on the upper right corner of my tv has a line over it and I want the line to go so I can talk with my friends when I play games

    I had the same problem. My mic was to close to my headset speaker. A quick fix is mute your mic when you're not talking, when you want to talk mute sound coming out of the headset speaker while you talk then immediately unmute sound to hear answer and
    the game.

    Keep the party chat open when talking and have your friends be quiet. Start making noise for a second and see where the echo comes from. If it's coming from you then you'll need to mess with your mic settings like the audio balance between game and party
    chat.

    However it sounds like the echo is coming from one of your friends. Also there's nothing you can do about the mic delay unfortunately. That's just a network thing and I've noticed when my friends and I talk there's a 1-2 second delay before we hear each
    other.

    To be honest, I haven't even tested my mic. It's the game audio that is killing me. The audio quality is atrocious. They MUST have known about these bugs, but they delayed the adapters as long as they could... I think they wanted them out before Titanfall,
    broken or not. I wish there was an ETA for a fix.

    IMO...trash talking gamers are what trucked the talking community.I personally never use my mic unless it's with friends or family while playing...the game you want that still has a solid excellent talking community that i know of is Graw 2...in fact they
    frown on anyone that doesn't use their mic and most of the time will kick a non speaking player.
