My mic and audio is messed up!

My headset works perfectly fine in a computer, it has a 3,5mm jack. When I plug it in it seems to have a loose connection (it crackles), I bought a stereo headset adapter (official). I could hear the game sounds through my headset finally again, but my microphone
was then disfunctioning? Can any one help?

My xbox one wired headsets microphone seemed to have stopped working, I believe its because I may have messsed up an audio setting, please help!

Hello Doctor,

I have two of the Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter and Headsets and all seem to work very well. The only problem I seem to have is forgetting to toggle off the mute button. However, I'm concerned when you say "it seems to have a loose connection (it crackles)".
If this is a physical connection issue, we maybe limited in what we can do. But, I would be curios that when you plug the headset directly into the controller, the Xbox should automatically recognize a compatible headset. And, in doing so it automatically
makes Headset volume, Headset chat volume and Mic monitoring settings available right at > Settings menu directly off the Home screen (kind of cool isn't it). At the top of the list of headset controls you will see Headset mic Off/On. With that said, I would
still recommend that you follow up with "Xbox One Chat Headset troubleshooting" for a detailed list of steps that may help fix you problem.

I own a hyper X revolver headset. I've tried just about everything I could in the game bar options in windows messing with just about every audio option in windows settings and game bar settings. It doesn't even say my mic is active but they say they can hear my spotify and game audio about like it's being played through the mic but the mic doesn't say it's picking anything up. I'm pretty sure adjusting my volume lower helps but I have it to the point where my headset is almost off on my splitter and they say they can still hear it.

The xo seven suck my x42 have way better sound I just cant it them to work with this piece of *** adapter xbox is really messing up lately...by the way I have a pair of xo seven im return due to the low quality in audio and no mic feed back...
