My messenger XBox One (Live) is not working

Hello MS-Team,

I have no time, so here just the hard facts:

Xbox One, Live, Messenger. Can't send any message to anyone (not friends or other). Everything in my account is green, privancy is open. Looks like a bug. Realy annoying.

Please fix it asap!

And CONFIRM that you noticed this post!

Can't send messages on my Xbox

I can't send messages through the Xbox live messenger on my Xbox One S, and when i try on the Xbox app the send icon is not highlighted as an option to send, it's there but not working. Please help. This sucks. Thanks

Just to verify, can you check your Xbox Enforcement History to ensure you do not have any active enforcement actions attached to your account here: Enforcement History

Also, are you able to send messages from Xbox.com when you login to your account?

SO ALL OF THE PEOPLE I'VE SEEN HAVE THE EXACT SA,ME PROBLEMS ARE ALL BAD PEOPLE THAT XBOX HAS DECIDED THEY CAN'T SPEAK TO ANYONE? WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?

Yeah i have been having the same problem for about a year now. I called them and they just say that there area bunch of people with the same issue and they do not know why.... My record is clean and have not done anything wrong either.

I haven't used any messenger apps. I do use the iloveim website on my work computer though as my lame university has Windows Live Messenger blocked for some reason.

I'll keep using that, but I won't use that Windows Live ID for anything important in the future and just use it for e-mail and messenger. Well, I didn't notice that hotmail has a web messenger feature now. Maybe I should try that out. If that works I
can ditch the iloveim site.

This Support article will assist you. You'll want to change the password or remove and then re-add your password. If you've changed
your Windows Live ID entirely, you'll want to follow those steps.
