Hello Microsoft staff and users, right now Im posting this message from an alt account because the main one got compromised by (probably) being sold on the Dark web and then it was bought by a russian named marlon parks (atleast thats what his email shows me). As you probably heard, there was the 16 BILLION accounts data breach and my account got hijacked changing my email and password but I had a gmail account and a phone number tied to that account before it was compromised and both my gmail and my phone number also were disconnected from using to acces my account back, I`m asking to get in contact with an agent so i could recover my account (I have proff with purchaing minecraft dungeongs on may 30 of this year and getting rewards within minecraft bedrock edition when I still had acces & I had minecraft java, bedrock, and dungeons already purchased. On my authenticator app, it shows me that my account is still there but its tied to a russian email (me not even being russian or living there) as well getting my password getting changed TWICE, one from Netherlands and one from Korea with their IP Adresses both, most probably since I believe this is tied to the data breach, Im sure my account got sold with my information on the Dark web and now some russian stole it, whose email he used to remove my gmail from the account that was mine, showed me what email he is using with my account).If your wondering, YES I tried to get my account back but since my original account had just that gmail, it doesnt work on the recovery mode, it says that it doesnt exist an account using that email, neither the authenticator worked to do anything. I can send photos with the proof that I have in my gmail (and not just my gmail, I have more proof outside that gmail) to your agent, if you even consider getting me in contact with one, I can post my phone number here or another one that I still have acces to get in contact with an agent if you consider sending one, I will send more info in private to the agent or any management person working at microsoft (If possible to be from Romania, if not, just to talk to them in english)!

Regrettably, once the email has been changed, we can no longer able to use the online form regarding Account compromised. I would suggest trying these steps and see if you can reach the Xbox customer support for them to further check or investigate your account.

Please go to https://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us

Then click on "Contact us" > Account and Profile> Then choose I need a Microsoft account> Type Account Hacked > Click Next> Click on See contact options> Select from there, it should show you the option to chat with them or request a call.

depends on what isp your with etc etc, i used to be with O2 for broadband and i live in the center of england, my ip was in dallas. it does happen from time to time as ip addresses change periodically.

if your account was breached you would need to open a compromised account case, then you may be able to argue the ban if it is proved that your account was indeed breached.

This happened to me too, This is a huge security breach. And i'm tired of xbox ambassadors saying my the account is compromised, when it's not. We need xbox live to fix this major

Having been in the industry for years, I understand your concern.

Your very first course of action should be to go to your sites and change your passwords to random, strong phrases that are different for every service.

It may not be a data breach at Microsoft but instead a data breach in your accounts. If you were using the same password at multiple services or if you were using public WiFi at the time, then it is possible one or more of your accounts have become compromised.

I'm not trying to say Microsoft is absolved in this scenario because I can't review any of the technical details about the time of transaction.

And you are absolutely right, be very careful with your data and credit cards.
