My left 4 dead 2 dlc isn't working.

I've always had this account it's odd that it's not in my history but I've read of other people having the same problem that's why I posted here because it just looks like I'm trying to get free dlc otherwise.

You bought the dlc's for L4D2 backwards compat? How? When ever I try to download them xbox live stops me by saying that "premium content is blocked for this profile." Although my age limit is set to unrestricted and my account is an adult account.

I have the same problem. They worked for a good amount of time but suddenly weren't recognised anymore.

I checked my purchase history after reading sombody else's post and it's not there and I don't know why. my copy of the game is on disc but dlc is digital I tried uninstaling some of the dlc to see if It appeared in ready to install but it didn't I wouldn't
mind as much if I at least got to play through all of them before but I didn't.

In regards to this, if you are currently not seeing your game DLC in your Ready to install when you select the option that reads
Manage game and add-ons, this would indicate that you might have purchased this a separate account.

Another indication of this would be that you are unable to view it in your
Order history.

That being the case, I would recommend that you review the
Lost Account Solution wizard and see if this allows you to find your old account.

Alternatively, if this does not work, I would encourage you to follow Xbox Forums Ambassador {Parity} suggestion to contact Xbox Customer
Support.

Give this a try and let us know if you manage to recover your DLC!
