my kinect stoped powering up

when my kinect is plugged in it says kinect unpluged ive tried all the things like in plug it and restart my xbox but it still doesnt connect what can i do. Its still in warrinty btw

Xbox One Kinect Stopped Working

CORRECTION: My KINECT suddenly stopped working last night. The console itself is still functioning, other than the Kinect being dead and the console no longer powering down/up my television & receiver.

Loki87 .. i did what you recommended but that deleted my current update and stoped the kinect sensor please help i wanr to update

Mine did something similar and it needed to be sent in for repairs. Here is a link that will walk you through any steps you may be able to do to fix it, before deciding to send it in:

I'm assuming you've already done a hard reset (holding Xbox light on the console) If this doesn't bring it back to life then you'll need to consider the possibility that wires break from time to time especially if it's moved a lot of the space the cord is
stored in is too tight and puts kinks in the wires. Try several different cord placements and see if you can't get it to kick on once. If it does then you'll have nailed down the issue to the cord alone and not the unit itself.

If you kept the same controller, and unplugged the Kinect and it stoped. Then yes. The Kinect was the likely problem.

I would call support and get a replacment, then try it again. Because if it was the Kinect, then their is no sense keeping it.
