    My kinect dont hear me..


    My kinect wont respond to any of my commands it signs me in automatically but wont hear me i have done all steps in microsofts website and still wont work.The kinect is brand new so it cant be broken or anything,id aprecciate some help

    Xbox one Chat mic won't let me talk

    Im experiencing the same problem and i just got my xboxone on Christmas and now my mike doesn't work. I can hear my friends but they cant hear me. Xbox help me. I dont want to use my kinect for a mike anymore

    we need a headset

    no one i talk to wants to use the kinect for chat and if i cant use my old headset at least give me a new one i think for $500 you can give me one of those junk wired xbox headsets you make or at least let me use my wireless xbox 360 headset. i dont think i could even play an online game if all my friends where using the kinect i'd rather sit
    in silence than hear them talking over my game. i have surround sound to hear the game and a headset to hear my friends but its separate not white noise from my speakers

    Majik you sure your Kinect isnt faulty mate? that doesnt sound right to me, I dont have any of those issues, mind you I dont have a projector, buy my Kinect recognises everyone its suppose to and hears me 95% of the time.

    Kinect not hearing me

    I have read a few people saying that the only way the Kinect hears them is if they mute their TV. This prevents the game noise from drowning out their voice. I haven't tried the Kinect features yet but will likely try tonight

    Will muting the kinect be easier than it is now? Currently to mute the kinect, u have to hit the guide button, scroll right, pick an option and check box mute kinect. It's a pain especially when my gf comes in yelling at me for something or i dont wNt other
    player to hear my conversation. where as on my headset it has the little switch on the cord.
