  1. My kids can't connect to each others game on Minecraft Windows 10 Edition

Hi hoping someone will be able to help me, i've tried various forums and other help through google and no one can solve the issue. Apparently there are many other people wiht the same issue as well.

I've just managed to set up Minecraft Windows 10 edition on both my PC and my daughter's laptop, both kids can play individually on the PC and laptop but can't seem to connect to each others game. They are linked as friends and all privacy and security
    settings are fine.

Has anyone else had this issue and has anyone found a fix? All they wan't to do is play a game together on the same world and Minecraft makes that the most difficult task in the world!

    Thanks in adviance.

    :)

Minecraft win 10 edition - friends can't connect to me

We were playing Minecraft windows 10 edition normally to this day, connecting through xbox live on our PCs, but today suddenly we can't. I am hosting and my friend can't connect to me. It's loading map and at the end just says: "unable to connect". Strangely,
I can connect to his game, but he can't connect to mine. We both have windows 10 pc and Minecraft win 10 edition. Earlier it worked fine, there were no changes in settings. Please help!

  3. Minecraft Windows 10 Edition not connecting with Xbox One friends?

My friends and I want to play Minecraft together and I have Windows 10 Edition and they're on Xbox One. How come we can't connect to each other? Is it only over Xbox Live for those on the same system?

My kids can't connect to each others game on Minecraft Windows 10 Edition

Hi DimmerMedusa11. To connect and play in the same world online in Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition, your kids will need to enter a Realm together. Realms, which you can read about the introduction to Windows 10

    here
, are a dedicated online world that lets players on Windows 10, as well as Pocket Edition and the Xbox One Edition invite their friends to play and create. Realms are available for a 30-day free trial, but after that it's a monthly subscription,
as the world is hosted on Mojang and Microsoft's servers rather than any of the individual players' devices.

To access Realms, launch Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition, click on Play. From there, if you see "30 Day Free Trial", click on it and it'll show the Realms info, as well as the cost after the trial period ends ($7.99/month). From there, go ahead and click
"New Realm" and set the world up as you would any Minecraft world. If you don't see "30 Day Free Trial" button in the list of playable worlds, click "Create New", select "New Realm" in the menu across the top. From there, you can either import an existing
world from either child's world list or create a new world entirely. Hope I helped answer your question!

    Minecraft for Chromebooks--Multiplayer. Needed. Now.

As far as I am aware the is no Minecraft for Chrome Books.

Minecraft Bedrock (Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Android, IOS, Windows 10, Windows 10 Mobile, Nintendo Switch, Gear VR, Fire OS and Fire TV) all support cross-play with each other.

Minecraft Java Edition players can only play with other Java players.

Minecraft Education Edition is only available on Windows 10, MAC OS and IOS. They all support cross-play with each other.

Mojang chooses what devices their games support, the best place to go would be https://feedback.minecraft.net/ and post your feedback there.

Can't Connect to a Friend in Minecraft Windows 10 Edition

    Hi there!

Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums for this issue. Sorry to hear that you're unable to connect to a buddy in Minecraft. Its possible that you're unable to connect with your other friend due to a NAT type issue on their end, since you've successfully
been able to connect with others on your end. However, you did say that there are already 4 others in there with you and with Minecraft: Windows 10 edition, you'd be limited to playing with 4 others online (or locally) unless you are subscribers of Minecraft
Realms (this allows up to 10).

For a bit more info regarding that, I recommend the following articles:

I hope that this helps out!

Connect to Xbox One Minecraft Game

Looked through some of the help articles - man the information is confusing.

Anyways from what I'm inferring from the posts is that you can play Windows 10 to Windows 10, and Pocket Edition to Windows 10 and that's it right now.

    https://support.xbox.com/en-CA/games/game-titles/minecraft-help-on-different-devices

"You can play Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta with other devices running Pocket Edition, such as Windows 10 and Windows Phone devices. Right now, you can play local multiplayer on Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta. Soon after the launch, online
play will be available for Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta."

    http://support.xbox.com/en-CA/games/game-titles/minecraft-windows-10-edition-beta-faq#a5eebb2f431442ff850f552a209f44ed

Can I play online with other people on Windows 10? Or on different devices?

You can play with up to four other people running Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta or Pocket Edition on your local network. You can also play online with up to four of your Xbox Live friends in online multiplayer gaming.

I am trying to transfer a minecraft world from my xbox one to my Computer

... I am transferring a Minecraft world from xbox one edition Minecraft to Java edition and Windows 10 edition.
The Minecraft Xbox One Edition only works on the Xbox One Edition.

You might want to upgrade to the Minecraft (without Xbox One Edition in the name) on your Xbox. If you bought Minecraft Xbox One Edition digitally, you can upgrade to "Minecraft" for free.

Then you can import your world from the Xbox One Edition to "Minecraft" for Xbox One.

However, the Support page for Windows 10 Minecraft states: "The Windows 10 Edition does not currently support the transferring of worlds from other devices."

So you can't transfer your world between devices.

You might have to move your World to a paid online Realm server to access it. Or you might have to run your Xbox One Minecraft in Multiplayer, and connect to the running world on your Xbox One with your Windows 10 version.

But you can't have your World separately transferred from Xbox to other devices.

As I said, you can try hosting your world on a Realm server (which you need to pay for), and can then access it with Windows 10, Xbox One, Android, iOS and Nintendo Switch.

    But not JAVA.
