    My keyboard randomly starts having input lag and I dont know what do to.


    For the past few months, my keyboard will have random times where it has input delay. Ive reset the drivers, used a diffrent keyboard, scanned for viruses, lowered graphics while playing my games, and also checked the input slots on my computer to see if anything is wrong.

    When I get the input delay, my keyboard would get stuck and type out what I put very slowly (Every input would go one by one and hold for 1-2 seconds.) In harder to run games, it would lag my game and sometimes my mouse, but the input on my keyboard was very bad. My computer would have this lag for arround 5-15 seconds and then it would stop out of nowhere. Also my computer fans do not speed up when this happenes and my computer acts like nothing is pressuring it to lag. I have an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor and a Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060. Can someone please help???

    Now with the Recent Update my Kinect affects the Keyboard freezing as well. I have this unfortunate hardware issue with my Kinect where it randomly turns off and On by itself. But after the August Update, when I use the Keyboard to type something and my
    Kinect turns off, the Keyboard freezes or lags, until the Kinect turns on again (Turns off and freezes the Keyboard for 2-4 seconds then turns on again)

    Example: Typing the word, "Warframe". I would start inputting the letters then when I get to the letter "m" it freezes and I noticed my Kinect just turned off and the Keyboard is stuck (or frozen) on "m" even though you can hear the keyboard noises while
    trying to move to the next letter. But this moment only lasts for 2-4 seconds but can still repeat, even on the same word or even the next letter.

    As a result I have unplugged by Kinect, which is my only main way of talking to others (Only when playing Solo which I do most of the time) as my Xbox Headset broke or died

    Hi! What type of display are you using? I know that some TVs can have a pretty big input lag because if which they offer a 'gaming mode' or similiar thing that helps in this case.
    With the monitor I'm fine, delay that is pressed on the keyboard and it is a problem of the game

    CODukes, remember that input lag is different than response time. The best monitors I have seen are about 9ms of input lag with a 1 seconds response. truly beast. I just (literally today) purchased a 27" monitor for my wife because I found my wife's TV has
    ~100ms of input lag (no game mode). 10ms input lag 6ms of response time. What monitor did you get? Whats funny is my TV a Sharp 52" from 2007 has a 30ms input lag. Which explains why I tend to do better than my wife... :)
