My joy pad stopped working but the light is on

I know you have tried it but just give this one more shot OP. Try syncing one controller first, then if that works try the other.

Hold down the sync button on the console first> then press (not hold) the sync button on the pad.

Now both sets of lights should be spinning, then they will flash and connect.

Still no joy?.

I also have same problem "after update", my chat pad's oran light keep blinking. but this xbox app still show's nothing to update. Game pad working fine but chat pad doesn't working after update this stupid firmware!!!

As for the big buttons, they always come as a set of 4, as they also need a single infra red receiver to make them work.

You should be able to get one of the other games with a full set cheap, or you might be better off just getting a 2nd joypad. (argos have some good deals on joypads at the moment)

Does the Joy-pad work with any of the scene it games then, So there is only 2 of us and we don't need the 4 big buttons?

I have been trying to cast my films from my Samsung pad to the Xbox one. Was working fine for ages but seems to have stopped in the last couple of weeks. I can't seem to see the Xbox when I search for it. I got it to work once but I had to reset the Xbox
completely and now it's back to not working again. Anybody she'd some light on a fix would be great

I too had this issue with my old solid red controller, chat pad and a wireless headset.

My controller was a dud to begin with. It ruined a battery pack, 3 wireless headsets stopped working after a day of use and when I had the chat pad and wireless mic set up. the lights would try to pair up but the mic would end up syncing as player 2 without
2nd controller nearby. (but it used to work at first)

When I got my new Red Tomb Raider controller, it was all good...but I got rid of the chat pad anyways since I havent used it in years and I didnt want the same issue to come about.
