How to switch from IPv4 to IPv6?

IPV6 has to be supported by your router and your ISP. IPV6 is already built into Xbox and when it detects it you're set.

Comcast is my ISP and their network supports IPV6.

I have a netgear router that supports IPV6 and it's just a matter of logging in to the router and enabling the IPV6 feature.

CenturyLink: Network connection and NAT type

I’m having the same issue right now and can’t join other people’s parties. Here’s where I went to enable IPv6 for my router https://www.centurylink.com/home/he...e+IPv6+&start=0&limit=25&feed=home_helpCenter

I went through the steps to enable it and now my Xbox says it’s using ipv4
    and
IPv6 but I still can’t connect to parties and the troubleshooter on my Xbox is still saying it can’t get a Teredo IP address so now I’m going to figure out how to make sure port 3544 isn’t blocked.

My isp supports IPv6 and my router has it enabled but I can’t figure out how to enable it on my Xbox one S, how do I do it?

Hi 7 2, my name is Courtney and I would be happy to help.

I understand what you are telling me, from what I understand the Xbox One S uses IPv6 automatically. You don't need to do anything about it. Just to confirm, may I know if you tried reconnecting your console to your Wi-Fi network?

If yes, can you try connecting it via cable and test how it works? And in case you haven't tried it, restart your console to see if it works:

    1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds, until it turns off completely. .
    2. Unplug the console power cord from the console and electrical outlet. Wait 5 minutes.
    3. Plug the console power cable back in.
    4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

Also unplug your router from power for about 3 minutes. Then plug it back in and when everything is working, try again.
