my internet speed crashes down when launching any games

Have you turned on your metered connection? Kindly check it using the steps below.

Press Windows key + I to open Settings.
Click Network & Internet.
Choose either Wi-Fi or Ethernet, depending on what method you use to connect to the internet.

If you selected Wi-Fi:
Click Manage known networks.
Select your network from the list.
Click Properties.
Slide Set as metered connection to On/Off.

If you selected Ethernet:
Click your connection from the list.
Slide Set as metered connection to On/Off.

***It has to be turned off.

Don't forget to install the latest updates of your Windows and get all available updates from the Microsoft Store:

It's definitely your internet. When the X1 first launch, I didn't have good internet speeds and it took forever to install games, I thought it was a problem with my Xbox. Then I changed internet providers and there is a huge difference.

What I have found when dealing with issue of game crashes is restarting my xbox and then shutting it down and waiting about 5 minutes before launching the game again.

Sorry to hear it. What is your internet speed (up and down)? You can test at speedtest.net.

I just recently upgraded my internet. The speeds before were 5 down and .5 up and I experienced the same issue that you are having now.

With my new internet at much faster speeds I don't experience any slowdown. So perhaps your speed is the issue.

You should consider checking with your ISP to see if there's anything they can suggest as well.

Yes, that is exactly what I did. Also my current internet speeds have been 65Mbps down 7.5Mbps up. I have no shortage of Internet speed or bandwidth to any of my other devices.
