My internet keeps disconnect during updates

So my internet on console keeps disconnecting and I’m getting frustrated with it since it works everywhere else in my house, I followed a website saying to alternate my nat type did it an it worked for a bit but the issue keep coming back, and it recently started doing this when updating Forza Horizon 5? Now idk if it’s the game but it getting frustrating, it took 12 hours to update a 19gb update when it should’ve taken 3 hours and it’s because of the console disconnecting, I’ve done everything to reset, reinstall the game, unplugged the console and my internet and it’s not doing the trick. By the way, this is for Xbox Series X. Thanks

Sorry to hear about the issue. This is clearly not the situation I want you to be in. I know how frustrating that must be and I would feel the same way if I were on your situation.

You mentioned that you already reset the console, was it the factory reset?

To further isolate the issue try to connect to a different wireless network like a mobile data hotspot. If you could connect your console using an Ethernet cable, it would be best to check as well if the issue persist with wired connection.

On your network device or router, it may work with your other devices but there are some instances that some devices won't work as well because if some configuration issue of your router. I suggest that you reset it by unplugging the power cable for at least minute before turning it back on. If possible, you could also perform a factory reset on your router or try to use a different router just in case it's a router issue.

Its the large updates it downloads during the install. Put the xbox into offline mode or disconnect the connection to the internet and then install from disc. After the install, you can connect to the internet and it will download the updates.

The xbox one will install game updates during the install of the disc which increase the load times. Disconnecting the console from the internet should solve the issue

Same With Me. Not internet. Play Borderlands 2, Transformers, Minecraft, anything, no problem. Halo 4 I keep getting Disconnected every 20-40 Minutes. Mainly during Solo Campaign

Does your internet disconnect and reconnect often? It could be one of the reasons why the update keeps on stopping.
