My internet is fine but I am constantly lagging in games.

My internet using the network speed test says that i am downloading at 48 MB/s and uploading at around 7MB/s with a packet loss of 1%. Although, i am experiencing extreme lag in every game i play including, Call of Duty, Rocket League, and NHL20. My ping
is normal for 2 seconds in then, it spikes. Going up to max ping making every online game unplayable. I need help badly.

If you have access to a PC, you can run a Tracert to determine where in the network your issue is likely to be occurring. If it's in your own home, you'll probably be able to do some tinkering, if its external however, your options are limited.

I have solid internet and I also have issues when I play online with a lot of games. Most games I'm pretty sure it's poor net coding as that is something that devs seem to struggle with still as it's tricky stuff. I've played very few games that didn't
have lag issues with playing online (games that don't have a lot going on or are restricted to 2 player co-op and the such seem to be better).

Connecting to an ethernet cord has helped, it gives a long lasting internet connection.
