My Home Xbox Sharing

ok so I have 2 consoles , one upstairs, and one downstairs. My wife and I take turns on which console we play on since one has a surround sound system. Currently we have both of our home Xbox on the same console. we have 2 copies of destiny and both play.
I have gold membership and the dlc for destiny however she does not. For the past 4 weeks my wife has been able to play the dark below expansion on both consoles without either of us changing our home console. Now its asking for her to buy it. Is there a way
she can play the dlc and on xboxlive without her having to rebuy all the same stuff I already own while being able to play on both consoles?

thank you for replying I did make my xbox my home still doesn't work and I have sharing gold and still isn't sharing to my other xb1

 

set your account as home console to your wife's console. if you set your account as home console to your console it will deactivate the other one. you cannot set your account as home console for 2 xbox's

 

Its easier.

You downloaded the DLC to your console which is your home console.

Well everyone on that console can play it since it is your home console even when your account is not on it.

If you log into a other xbox which would be the one of your wife ,you can redownload all your games and DLC to it and use it.

But your account has to be logged into that console to use it while the home console can used by everyone.
