My home xbox offline

Someone else has access to your account and is setting their Xbox back to the home Xbox. Change your password, update your security settings.

If you are trying to use your Home Xbox offline, you need to turn the console into Offline mode via the Network settings. Otherwise it will still attempt to connect to the internet to verify content and fail to do so if you have no internet.

Try that and see if it helps.

To add to what ThisGameIsSucky said. Keep this in mind.

When you set your console as your home console that console will remain your home console till you set another console as your home console, even if you go into the settings on that console and tell it to not make this my home console as long as you do not
set another console as your home console you can go back in and set that console as your home console again and it will not count against you.

So with that in mind if you went in and set that console as your home console then went into settings and went into offline mode so you could play your games offline.

Then while playing offline you get kicked saying that you need to set this console as your home console.

That means someone else has signed into your account on their console and set their console as your home xbox especially if you go back into the settings and it says to make this console your home xbox again.


My recommendation would be to change your password immediately.

By changing your password you it would require anyone that has your account information to enter in the new password when trying to sign into your account and if they do not know the new password then they wont be able to use your
account.

Also You get 5 times a year to change what console is set as your home console.

Sorry to bold and make this big but figured it was important especially if someone might have your sign in information.

I've had to use a hotspot for internet before on my Xbox, as well. I had to do it everyday for about 6 months and I've never had this problem. I would make sure your internet is 100 percent connected when you get online and constantly check it for any issues
and errors from here on out, just in case, and doing a hard restart a few times before immediately jumping to remaking the Xbox your Home Xbox. There could be an issue with your ISP and ultimately your console trying to receive data from the hotspot... which
could be messing with it to some capacity. I'm not really a technical expert but something could be throwing your Xbox a bad code. Its either that or someone has access to your account on another console and is making theirs the Home Console for your game
shares.

Either way yo should maybe contact support because they'll be able to get you exactly what you need. You can also get extra Home Xbox switches depending upon the situation.

To play offline on your console, you have to set your console as the home Xbox and go into network settings and set the console as offline. Then you can play the games offline as much as you want.
