    My home xbox kicked me off


    I had a home xbox with one of my friends (this account right now). Everything was good until my other friend made the same xbox his home(he used the one and only lifesaver switch). Once he made it his home xbox it for some reason it kicked me off and i cant
    play the game i bought

    Thanks for the reply! I sometimes restart my router and it works for 5 minutes, and then it kicks me off again! Also, I don't have to be on the internet to get kicked off; sometimes I am but mostly it's just random when no one else is home.

    This happens to if you import your account to a friends. I downloaded my profile to my sister's xbox and whenever my brother signed in from home, they'd kick me off. Sure you didn't have your account on a friends?

    Xbox says wifi password incorrect but is. Connects fine with wired connection.

    It kicked me off of Destiny while I was playing the crucible. I was 20-3 and it kicked me off. It then kicked me off of my wifi and couldn't log back on because it kept saying my password was wrong. I ended up just clearing my MAC address and restarting
    my xbox. Its all good now.

    Try doing a hard reset on your console.

    Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console. Once it is back up and operational test
    for results.
