    My home xbox keeps loading/spinning when I press it


    When I try to change my home xbox, I check the box and before it even asks to confirm if I want to make this my home xbox it does a loading animation with the spinning circle. It loads for about 15 seconds and then it just stops and nothing actually changes. I have done a factory reset while keeping games and apps, I have removed and re-logged in my profile, and I have restarted my xbox countless times. What can I do to fix this?

    Hi,

    There currently seems to be an issue with trying to set your console as your Home Xbox. I’ve escalated this to the Xbox team.

    Can you confirm:

    1. Exactly which Xbox console you’re on - Xbox One or Series X|S? Please specify the exact model.
    2. Whether you’re an Xbox Insider and what OS version you’re currently on. You can find this info in Settings > System > Console info.
    Please create a bug report for this error so this can be properly addressed. You may add [Xbox Forums] to the title of the report, then share this here once complete. Thanks.
    I am having problems with this on two different Series S and a Series X all on the same OS

    OS: 10.0.22000.4558

    I am not an Xbox Insider nor is the other accounts I have tried

    I'm on the same OS (10.0.22000.4558) and its happening for me an an XBOX ONE X. I'm Not an Xbox Insider.

    Have you tried using a different network? You can achieve this using a mobile hotspot to connect your console, sometimes the issue could be related to the network
    Mines been doing same for last 2-3 days can’t play anything at all tried different networks different cables resets

    Accounts still not working

    Spinning circle doesn’t do anything takes me back to same place with box unticked must have tried 100+ times what a joke

    I have the same issue with a brand new Series S console. Every time I try to set a new home xbox it just loads and doesn’t check the box like everyone else here I’ve tried everything reseting the console, changing connections, clearing the home xbox through developer mode, etc. I just want to be able to use my brand new console.
