My Home Gold seems to not be working properly

I recently purchased a 12 month Xbox Gold subscription. Unless I am misunderstanding how Xbox Home Gold works, it is not working as it should be. My family member's accounts cannot seem to access live. My account is the primary account and all works as it
should. While playing NBA 2K16, my family members' accounts are not recognized as having live. However, when they play Halo 5, everything works fine. Is this a bug with 2K or something else? I have set my home Xbox as the Xbox One that we are all using and
they are all part of my family. Can someone explain to me what is going on?

XBOX ONE Controller Dpad

A lot of Xbox One controllers seem to be deficient in some way or the other. My last controller's home and select buttons weren't working properly, and the left thumbstick seemed to make a clicking noise without me pressing the thumbstick's button. It just
clicked whenever I moved it.

I just got a replacement controller and its D-pad isn't working properly either. I can't seem to get a perfectly fine XbOne controller...

Signing into Xbox Live on my Windows 8 pc is also slow and not working properly. So it seems to be service wide.

 

Also, I have not tested this with any other games besides the games I have mentioned. Perhaps it is simply a bug with 2K16.

 

Have them sign in alone with your being signed in and see if they they can play nba 2k16. If so I would have to assume it's a bug in the game. It sounds like everything else is working just fine

 

Without you being signed in I meant.

 

I tried what you suggested and it does not work. I also recently bought Star Wars Battlefront and the live isn't working for his account on that game either. I've noticed both games are made by EA...coincidence? Multiplayer on Halo 5 is still working for
him just fine.

 

Hate to bump this but I really would appreciate some help.

With regards to the Star wars game. If the other account is a child account then he really won't be able to play it. Its a game restriction. But for NBA 2k16. If you have set your main account as the home xbox account but the other accounts still can't access
live. Trying to set it again might work. If you've reached the limit of setting up the account as home xbox(3 times a year), you could try to contact support if they could help you reset it since you're having problem sharing your gold to the other accounts.
They might consider it and provide you a 1 time reset.

Did you by any chance purchase those games through EA access ?

Ea access requires the player to have an individual account for their service so that's why it might not work.

 

Star Wars is the only EA game mentioned but the other account his family member is using might be a child account so it won't really allow them to play that game. NBA 2k16 is a 2ksports game so it does not require any EA access subscription nor can't be
bought through EA vault.
