My Hogwarts legacy game will no longer launch correctly, continues to automatically shut down

Hi I have purchased Hogwarts legacy and stopped playing it for a few weeks while my wife got busy. I’m now turning on my Xbox for the first time to try to get back to the game, and for some reason every time I try to open the game, it just crashes out and goes back to the main screen. It does not show any error codes. This is on an Xbox X. And I’ve tried reinserting the game desk several times, and nothing seems to work.

To confirm, do you have the Xbox Series X console? Does the issue happen to your other games?

Please first try powercycling your console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds till it shuts down then unplug it for 30 seconds.

I checked my bank and there’s a transaction for $60 on 12/5/22 and hogwarts legacy was the only game I pre ordered/paid for at that time for that price but when I went to Xbox transaction there’s no payment for hogwarts legacy it’s like I never pre ordered/paid for it
