My headset isn't working anymore since the March update. Help

Hi everyone,

since maybe a week now, I'm trying to fix my problem. I have a SoundBlaster Recon3D Omega (Page not found - Sound Blaster Sound Cards, Gaming Headsets, Sound BlasterAxx - Bringing quality audio to computing since 1989 | soundblaster.com)
and before the March update, my headset was working fine (except for the mic cause there was no adaptator) but now my headset doesn't recieve the sound from the Xbox One. I've tried everything. I unplugged and plugged every cable like the optical cable, the
USB and even with the adaptator. I've tried having my wireless transmitter plugged-in (optical and USB), my adaptator plugged into my controller and my headset and even my controller on charge.

After this, I contacted Microsoft's support and they said all non-microsoft product wasn't compatible with the One but I don't think it's completely true for three reasons: First, my headset was working as expected before and second, I tried an old wireless
headset (Turtle Beach X31) and I can hear a little bit and my current headset still do de little typical sound of a wireless headset when the power is on (something like static).

I have no other idea so I need your help guys,

XBOX ONE Stereo Headset Static Problem....

I got my Headset / adapter on the 2/26/2014, from MS store. An after March 5, console update, and updating my controller. everything is working fine, great sound to the headset. Support is telling you March 7, because the MS Store, stop shipping them until
March 7, because of the update for the controller was not out. If your console is updated, with March 5 update, then you have the controller update too.

Kinect stops working randomly. Full Reboot fixes it

Since the March Xbox update my Kinnect has stopped working. Tried everything can't get it working. Must be an update problem. Worked fine before the update

 

I have this headset, you have to use the optical/SPDIF connection and a headset adapter with the wire to the headset for the mic to work. You will need to use the USB connection only to power the Soundblaster wireless unit. With the headset configured
this way it is the same as if the XBoxOne were hooked up to a digital stereo receiver.

Verify your system's audio settings are set for Optical use, you can gather how to do this from here:

support.xbox.com/.../configure-audio-settings

Other things to consider are: make sure you have a good charge, the wireless syncs up with the headset, you may need to toggle the switch PC for this configuration.

if you are still having issues please test the headset with another device such as an iPhone/iPod (yes it will work with 3.5mm Optical) or a PC.
