My headset is compatible with Xbox one. I plugged my headset in to my Apple device and it worked. I also have tried the headset with both controllers for my Xbox and I did not hear anything. Is there Anything you can think of that could allow me to use the headset on the Xbox? When I plug the headset In to my controller i hear nothing. When I try to start a party on my Xbox it says that we can’t find a microphone for these people.

Have you tried unplugging it and plugging it back in? Sometimes just doing that has fixed it for me.

Also, try unplugging the headset, then restart your console, then plug it back in and try again.

If you still have no luck, if you can, try your headset with a friend's controller, or a different headset with your controller. It may be that the 3.5mm port in the controller has had it, but doing that test will pretty much confirm it.

I did'nt know there was microphones that needed two plugs to work (one for power and one for sound).

The microphones I have found is either USB (power and digital sound) or 3.5mm plug (analog sound).

If I understand you correct you don't know of any USB-only microphones for X1. Do you know where I can find information about if there is one? Maybe the ones for Nintendo work or perhaps the ones for playstation?

I suppose the console need drivers for the specific microphone to make it work and I can’t find any information about this at all.

I am having the same problem. My fiance and I are both using headsets that are new. My headset plugs in and his is wireless. They have both worked in the past. Recently, we tried to start a party with his cousin and we could not host. We also could
not hear each other speaking. The game is registering our headsets with icons and even shows voice action icons when we talk, but we cannot hear each other in our head sets. We were later able to start a party, but still no voice sound. The game says it
cannot find a microphone for either of us. We use AT&T. We checked our NAT is Open, no one is muted, our chat mixer is in the center, our network says IPv4 & IPv6 and our ISP supports IPv6. When I checked in on our router page it says it is IPv6 enabled.
It says it is using port 3047. Still, for some reason we cannot hear each other speak in the headsets, but we can hear the game. Can anyone give us advice? It has been extremely hard to get an answer for this.
