My headset having audio output problems since windows update

We understand that you prefer to plugged your Turtle Beach headset into Xbox One Controller rather than direct to PC. Let us check on this together so you will get back to gaming.

You might be needing update for your headset's driver. You may check here to download the firmware update for your headset - Turtle Beach® Audio Hub - Download Firmware Updates. If issue persist, you may try to perform basic troubleshooting and isolate the issue further and we might refer you to the experts if needed.

Basic Troubleshooting and isolating of issue:

Update Xbox app, Xbox game bar, Xbox One Controller, Xbox accessories and audio driver.

Restart device and kindly turn off or disable antivirus, antimalware, Firewall and PC Optimizers.

Test different headset/earphone and check if issue persist.

Test Turtle Beach headset on phone, kindly download the audio hub app.

Retry to plugged the headset back to Xbox One Controller and check audio.

Hello Thrasher585, usually this type of configuration is in the options: Settings»Audio output and Volume»Auto-speaking audio, if it is marked in gray is because the headset is connected, disconnect the hedset and the HDMI audio output put in Headset Format and in the Headset Audio setting put Windows Sonic if you do not use Dolby Atmos etc.

It will work, now with the chat adapter out, my problem is trying to stream audio to my pair. I don"t have a digital output on my tv and no headset jack, however I do have a digital audio output which is supposedly the same as optical output, could you
clarify that for me?

It seems a problem with audio output. Check the audio settings, go to: "Settings"->"Volume"->"Party Chat Output" and select "Headset".
