My headset chat mixer is all the way to the right (party chat)

Hello Unkn0wnDeath, on which device would be playing and trying to update your controller, would it be by PC or Xbox?

If it's for Xbox you've tried to update your control by PC using the Xbox Accessories App, if you haven't tried it yet.

Make sure the headset chat mixer isnt all the way to the right

With the headset and adapter plugged into the controller that came with your Xbox One X, try going into the audio settings in the guide. There should be in the middle that's called "chat mixer."

If you move the slider all the way to the left, then you should get only the audio from the game. All the way to the right is for chat / party.

If the "chat mixer" option isn't there, then I can only assume it's a hardware issue.

Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. With your headset plugged in, hit guide button on controller, go to the far right icon named system. If you see audio here go there the second option named headset chat mixer move the slider towards the
middle. This will allow game sound along with chat. When all the way to right you only here party chat.

You play on your Xbox One? if so, do this :

Guide Button - System - Audio - Headset Chat Mixer

All the way to the left to only hear game audio, all the way to the right to only hear party audio. The middle notches are to mix it, so you can get a good game/party ratio that suits you.
