    My headset adapter is not working, please help.


    I bought a new headset adapter for my Xbox One S controller after the old one broke. I plugged it in and everything was fine but when I went to try it out no audio came through nor was my microphone working, I tried to turn up the volume but instead, a loud
    beep came out of my headphones.

    I have reset my Xbox, updated my controller, and even made sure that my headset wasn't the problem, please help!

    Headset adapter help

    Recently I have been using the Headset Adapter to talk with my turtle beaches x32 until yesterday it stopped working. Nothing is broken either. Also, when i try to press the mute mic button on the adapter it does not light up anymore. I have tried restarting
    my xbox, changing batteries, unplugging cords/plugging back in (cords to the headset), and unplugged the xbox all to no prevail. If anyone knows how to fix this please help.

    Headsets not working on Xbox One anymore

    First, turn off your console and unplug it for 30 seconds, this clears cache and may fix this.

    Next, please see this troubleshooting page for tips on how to get your headset to work again:

    Also make sure you read the manual for your headset, to see if it needs any updates (if possible).

    And finally, if nothing works, please buy the Xbox brand Stereo headset adapter and that will most likely make your headset work again:

    Mic not working, can hear but others can't hear me.

    Update, bought a xbox one headset adapter to work with my AX720 Triton headset. Same issue. This is not hardware. Even when i go to private party the mic picks up nothing. This is a premium headset with the adapter. Can we please come up with a solution
