My hdmi wont work

So my TV fell a month back and I just got a new one and my HDMI worked but now it wont, I turned the Xbox on then TV on and vice versa, the cord works on my laptop but not my Xbox, I've tried both out puts also. what should I do.

for some reason my xbox wont work on my tv through hdmi but if i try on different tv it works.... but also if i bring a different xbox down on the tv that wouldnt work on my xbox it would work... so its not the tv as i have other stuff to it but my xbox
will work on different tv confused

Hey there Slice! I understand you are having some issues with your console displaying on the TV. What exactly is happening here? Do you see a black screen, or is it distorted? Let me know exactly what you are seeing.

Just so I am on the same page, you have a console that will not work on your main TV through HDMI, but will work on another TV. Is this with the same HDMI cable, or a different one? Also, you have another console that will work on the main console through HDMI,
correct?

What if you try hooking up the main console to the main TV with a different type of cable, like standard A/V? Do you have the same issue? Let me know how all this goes, thanks!

 

note I did try and reset resolution

 

Hey HeavyDirtyS0u1! Do you have another HDMI cable you can try, another TV, or the ability to test your console at a friends house? That will help find out where the problem lies. Post back and let me know!

Hey HeavyDirtyS0u1! Next step would be trying your console on another TV or display to see if the console is still able to display out. Was the console damaged at all when the TV fell? Post back and let me know!
