My Halo Infinite Account was deleted.

Hello.

A few hours ago I tried to log in to my Halo Infinite account via steam.

Instead of letting me in the main menu, it showed me a message saying;

"There is a problem with your microsoft account, to fix this, sign in to account.live.com from a browser".

I tried that on top of some other things I thought would fix the problem.

Eventually, I tried to reset my password and cause it to make me sign in again.

It worked.

And I logged in again only to find out that now my username is my old Gametag from my old Xbox360 I used to play back at 2012.

It was all fresh, no items, level 1, no season pass.

My Halo Infinite account "AnasHamdan" was leveled up and I paid for the first season pass.

I'd like to get my account back somehow please.

Hi, I had the same issue and I followed these instruction on this website. Works perfect for me now.

Having trouble booting up Halo Infinite via Game Pass on PC? Is the installer telling you to download Gaming Services but not actually giving you an option to do so? This step-by-step fix will get you back into that challenge grind in no time. To get around the Gaming Services issue you simply need to reset the Halo Infinite app:

1. Press Windows + I

2. Navigate to Apps > Halo Infinite > Advanced Options

3. Click Reset (DATA WONT BE DELETED)

The Xbox app will tell you that Halo Infinite's data has been deleted but this doesn't actually happen. Simply start up the Xbox app again, find Halo Infinite, and click the install button. The game files are still in place and the app will recognize that you own the product.

But my credits don't even appear on Halo Waypoint, which is tied directly to my xbox account (which is tied to my steam account anyway). However, instead of asking for a refund, can't I just download Halo Infinite from the Xbox app and get my credits?

There are a few possible reasons why this might have happened, such as a corrupted save file, a sync error, or a sign-in problem. To troubleshoot this issue, please follow these steps:

1. Make sure you are signed in with the same Microsoft account that you used to play Halo Infinite before. You can check your account settings on your Xbox console or on the Xbox app on your PC or mobile device.

2. Check your cloud storage and see if your Halo Infinite save data is there. You can do this by going to Settings > System > Storage > Manage storage > View contents > Games and apps > Halo Infinite > Saved data. If you see your save data there, try deleting it and then launching the game again. This will force the game to sync with the cloud and restore your progress.

3. If you don't see your save data in the cloud, or if deleting it doesn't work, try uninstalling and reinstalling the game. This will clear any potential corruption or errors in the game files and download the latest updates.

I have upgraded and installed my computer Parts, but now when I launch Halo Infinite I get "Halo Infinite is currently not available in your account. Make sure you are signed in to the Microsoft Store and try again. Here's the error code, in case you need it: 0x803F8001" which I am now trying to resolve
