My GTA V is only installing to 74% then saying installation stopped in my Xbox series x

Additional information is needed, please tell me:

Are you using an insider build in your console?
Is this happening with the enhanced edition or the Xbox one edition?
Is this happening when you try to install this game or if you try a installing a different game something similar happens?
Are you trying to install the game on the internal storage or to an external drive?

And, what did you tried so far to fix this
In that way I can advise you different things or how to proceed

In the meantime try power cycling your console
1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.
2. Unplug the console's power cable from the console and from the power outlet. Wait 5 minutes.
Important: Be sure to wait at least 5 minutes. This step resets the power supply.
3. Plug the console power cable back in.
4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

I Tee a the Xbox 1 edition and I’ve tried to hold down home button on controler and press reset that way and I’ve tried emptying the blue ray

Let’s try to isolate the problem a bit more if power cycling the console doesn’t help:

A. If you have USB accessories connected to the console, please disconnect everything and try again

B. Download and configure the Xbox mobile app, once configured go to the search tab > type “Grand theft auto V” and tap the result > tap on “download to console“
Verify if the game ends the installation in that way

C. Use a custom DNS address:
go to Settings > Network > Advanced Settings

Once you’re inside the Advanced Settings menu, go to DNS settings and select Manual from the list of available options.
When you get to the next screen, enter 8.8.8.8 in the box associated with the Primary DNS and 8.8.4.4 in the Secondary DNS box.

Once the default DNS addresses have been changed, restart your console and see if the issue has been resolved at the next console startup.
If that doesn't work use 1.1.1.1 as primary and 1.0.0.1 as secondary

D. Clear your MAC address
Go to Settings > Network > Advanced Settings > Alternate MAC Address
Select Clear, restart your console and give it a new try

E. Do a factory reset for your console but keeping games and apps
Go to Settings > System > Console info > reset and then select keep my games and apps
**Make sure to know the email and password for all your accounts

Kindly try installing the game digitally and just simply insert the disc once fully installed.

"1. Cancel the installation and remove the disc.

2. Perform a powercycle on your console.



​​​A. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

B. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​



3. Launch Xbox app on your phone and search for the game.

4. Click the game and choose "Download to Console"

5. Wait for the game to install completely before inserting the disc to play it."
