My GTA 5 is stuck at 11.8% on the install

Before the black screen of death that was released in one of the updates my GTA 5 installed completely and I was playing for a while. After I was forced to delete all my data on my Xbox to fix the problem. I downloaded all of my games back again. The only one that was like this was GTA 5. I have saw all of the other people with this problem that have comments about it. I tried taking my Xbox offline and downloading it. I have tried deleting local save data. I have even tried buying a new GTA 5 and it still will not work. My Xbox is up to date. Every other game I have downloaded has worked. Does anybody know what to do about this?

Are you trying to install GTA V on the internal storage of the console? Can you try to install it on an external HD or an SSD expansion card?

This is a digital purchase, not a physical/disc purchase, right?

Also, what version is your GTA V? Is it the Xbox Series S/X optimized version or the Xbox one version?

when I try to install GTA 5, the game remains stuck at 2Go and instalation stops. Can you help me solve this problem?

Yours is a slightly different issue as you purchased a digital copy. Your copy may be installing an update. If it has been there for a while try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down. That should fix it.

I have just encountered this problem. Purchased the game yesterday via digital download. Has now been over 30 hours and appears stuck on 73%. In my games and apps the gta5 appears complete and nothing is queued. However on start up the GTA loading screen
appears with 73%.

Please help as this is taking way too long

Sorry to hear it. It seems as though you have purchased the disc version. If you installed the update before the game was fully installed this could be what is causing the problem.

Try deleting the game then disconnecting your console from the internet and then install the game to see if that helps.
