My Gold Membership is Acting Weird

Ok, so I recently renewed my Xbox Live Gold for my Xbox One, yet, when I try and start a party or do anything requiring Live, it brings me to the "Buy Xbox Live Gold" screen. I waited a day to see if the problem would fix itself, but no luck.

For some odd reason my account won't let me join my friends in a party or game it keeps on saying I need a gold membership, but when I enter a membership code it says I already have a gold membership? What do I do?

My xbox live account seems to be acting weird, I can't join my friends parties or games.

but I can still see my friends that are online, and whenever I enter a code for a xbox live

membership it says I already have a gold membership.

My XBox is acting weird

Hi, my G-Tag is "", my XBox has been acting very strange lately, all the new games I received for Christmas are unreadable, but most of my other games are readalbe (I say most because I have scratched an old game by accident) I find it strange,
because I usually take good care of my discs, expecially the new ones, but I have noticed small scratch lines going around the disc in a perfect circle, I don't understand how they got there, but my theory is that something is wrong with the disc reader, that
is causing my new discs to scratch, and what really sucks, is that I passed my month renewal dates 4-6 days ago. If anybody has some insight on this, I would be greatful, thank you.

I also think it is weird how it started the day after I renew my xbox live gold membership

Try performing a hard reset exactly like this.

Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console. Once it is back up and operational test
the results. Let us know if it works.

Sorry to hear it. Sounds like the power brick for the 360 has died and you should replace it. You can purchase a new one from the repair page.
