    14 day trials?

    i did the same but now my xbox live gold has ended and i put the 14 day gold trial card code in it accepted it but its saying i still am not gold and i dont know why i should have 14 day gold trial

    Hi there,

    it currently isn't possible to buy xbox live gold with the currency on your account, it can be used to buy games, movies, dlc, avatar items etc.

    There is no info available if it will be possible in the future

    While funds in your Microsoft Account is a form of a payment method, it isn't the type of payment method that can be billed on a recurring basis. Your best option would be to either renew over the Xbox Console/Xbox.com or buy a membership from a retailer,
    and redeem the prepaid code, should you choose to renew.

    While as inconvenient as it may be there would be no way around this. Hope to see you back on Xbox LIVE soon!

    Im not entirely sure but I got my 30 day trial after signing up for gold on my console and was awarded an extra thirty days at the end of my subscription
