    Wrong Amount for 3 Month Subsription

    Hello,

    On the 27th of June, I bought a three month of Xbox Live Subsription as it said I would recieve a 10 dollar promotional gift card. Today I received a message from Xbox Live, giving me only a 5 dollar gift card. I bought the three months to get the $10, not
    a $5 dollar gift card. Anyone know who to contact or when I will receive the extra 5 dollars? Also I have not redeemed the gift card yet.

    Problem with zune music account, and old credit card....

    I got the 2 week free trial for the zune music pass, and had an old credit card gift card that i put on my account several months back.. i just looked on my account info on the site and it has an automatic renewal for the zune pass.. So its saying i owe
    about $9 for 1 month renewal when i had no idea it was going to charge me after the "free trial". The problem is the credit card gift card i had used no longer has any cash on it, so im wondering if there's a way i can cancel the $9 fee i now owe.. I turned
    off automatic renewal, and tried to delete the credit card info but it wouldn't let me.

    Please reply with some helpful information. I'd rather not give away money.

    I saw your post on an older thread and made it its
    own so we can tailor our support directly to you. Now, my understanding is that you had a
    3-month trial and it no longer is working. What was this
    3-month gift card trial for? Also, if you go to your

    Order History     does it show that you added a 3-month
    trial? If so, I would suggest for you to clear the Network Card Cache (alternate MAC address)


    To clear out the MAC address

    • Settings
    • Network
    • Network Settings
    • Advanced Settings
    • Alternate MAC Address
    • Clear and restart

      If it’s still persisting,I would suggest to contact Live support.

    no thanks,pick the category(Games)and just pick a contact method
    (request a call from support or Chat is faster).

    You must be clearer with this. Have you got 14 days promotion code, some kind of promotion gift card or the normal one? If it is a one month, or three-month code it should work with no problem.

    It will ask for your billing info, like your Credit Card, because the Free 30 Day Trial does Renew to a standard 1 month Subscription.

    This is easily stopped though after you sign up by going to your account settings page on Xbox.com and turning off Authomatic renewal. This will stop the trial becoming a monthly subscription.

    But in order to get the 30 day trial you will need to put card details on teh account, although they can be removed once the trial has ended and has not renewed to a monthly sub.
