    Hi everyone.
    A while ago, I bought a $ 5 Gift Card to be able to join Xbox Live (Ultimate). But when I want to buy Xbox Ultimate and use my Microsoft Balance to perform the Transaction, I can not because it shows
    me a message that says "How do you want to pay the rest?" This is Rare because the balance I have is $ 5 and the Subscription costs $ 1, really disappointing, I do not want to think I lost $ 5 so please give me a solution.

    As far as i know you can't purchase subscriptions with gift card balance, you need a PayPal or Credit/debit card, as the purchase is a reoccurring one. You can also purchase gift cards specificly for live and game pass, just a heads up.

    Once upon a time you couldn't use a Xbox gift card to purchase Xbox Gold but now you can. However, a credit/debit, paypal is needed for the reoccurring fee.

    Try restarting your Xbox by holding the power button on your Xbox for 10 seconds. Then try to purchase the Ultimate game pass with your gift card balance and see what happens.
