My gamescore has changed overnight..

Hello, I've been directed here from the xbox live chat support with hopes to fix my problem.

Last night I had 985 thousand gamescore, I set up happy dungeons so I could leave it afk over night (as only needed 7 hours playtime for my final achievement.) I woke up this morning to pop the achievement, it was 1250/1250 so I turned the xbox of to go get
breakfast. Now upon loading my xbox up, I have 639,525 gamescore and most of my games, including happy dungeons read as 0/1000 Gamescore.

I have tried all the steps of removing accounts, power cycles and so on, with no change to my gamescore, tho strangely enough, my " monthly gamescore" changed from 15 thousand (which was correct) up to 23,150.

Can anyone help with this issue?

Hey DannyBoy,

I had a friend have this happen to a while ago. A few people have had the same issue. My mate was fortunate enough that after a few days it settled and he had all his points back. So maybe give it a couple of days and the issue may resolve itself. It has
been a known bug/issue for many. Hope you get em back mate. That sounds like a mean feat there and some serious game time. Kudos!!

It is a glitch and happened to me last year. I did the same thing as you to no avail. However, it will return to normal in a few days. I think it took mine 3 days so don't fret. You still have your score.

Still no change to this, tho I did notice something, happy dungeons read as 0/1250, I loaded it up and now it reads 1250/1250. No change to my actual game score but my monthly score went up by 1250.

My monthly score has actually gone up to 35,160 now. I have tried contacting support, but they go threw the basic trouble shooting steps, then send me here... from here a couple of people say to contact support, its like a loop.

I know many others have said to wait, but I have mental health issues and things like this really set me off and stress me out, I really don't want to be that person who goes on and on, but I also can't help how my brain is wired lol.

It should fix itself in a few days like people are saying.

If it doesn't you should probably contact support and see what they can do about it.

I've had this happen to me before where all of my games (or an awful lot of them) suddenly went from showing 1000G and 100%, to 0G and 0%. I had temporarily lost tens of thousands of GS. I didn't find anything that I could do, so it was just a matter
of waiting until it fixed itself. It remained like that, showing lots of games I had completed at 0% all day that day. When I went back on the Xbox the next day, it was all fixed and back to normal though. If it were me, I wouldn't panic, as I've seen it happen
quite a few times before and there's even been articles about it on TrueAchievements before because it's affected so many people. You might just have to wait it out until it fixes itself. It's almost a common glitch at this point as I've seen it happen to
myself or friends over 5 times in the last 6-8 months. I would just wait it out and know that it will fix itself soon. Good luck!
