Help, my game wont start

So the problem is, Fallout 4 won't start. (Prepare for wall of text, please stay with me!)

What happened was that in the middle of playing, the game tried to autosave, and then it froze. Nothing unusual with Bethesda games, and certainly not the first time it happened, so I just went to the menu, quit the game, and tried to restart.

Now, this is where the problems started.

Upon trying to launch the game, it showed me the usual "please stand by" screen, but after that it went black. Nothing.

I tried to do this a couple times but it did not work, so I uninstalled and re-installed. Did not work - instead, the game symbol was blank/grey, and it wouldn't even take me to the "stand by" screen.

I contacted Bethesda, but we game to the conclusion that this was a cause for xbox(why isn't the xbox support chat open, by the way? Much easier than forums.)

Finally, I read that it could work if you remove your account, restart your xbox, and add the account back.

I did, and voila! Game picture was back, so I thought it was fixed. It was not.

It fixed the missing-picture problem, but now it's just back to taking me to the "please stand by" screen and nothing more.

The two error messages I have gotten while trying to start:

No picture/gray picture: 0x800705b4

After getting the picture back: 0x8027025a

When looking these up at xbox.com/errorhelp, they've both just told me to restart/install and stuff. Which I've already done a bunch of times.

My friend and I "share" games(any game she buys, I get, since she logged on to my console before), and it still works without any problems for her(and I can still play other games we share.) I removed and re-logged into her account on my console, too.

What went wrong? How do I fix this?

Game wont start

When i boot the game it goes through the EA and Respawn title screens. Then it will show the copyright info and after that my console will just sit at a black screen. Ive tried rebooting the console and I've tried re installing the game but i haven't been
able to even get to the menus. I have a digital copy of the game so i know its not an issue with a disc or anything. Has anyone else had this issue and if so were you able to fix it?

This error is a correct message from your console. You could play the game for free the last weekend. After the weekend you have to buy the game to continue your game session. Hope that helps.

so yestarday I downloaded nba 2k19 cause i somehow had it free. I was playing it then i load up my xbox today, and it says i dont own this game when i was playing it yestarday.

Thanks for coming to the forums. Are you by chance logging in on a different profile. We recommend to check your

order history to see if the game purchase says purchased. If by chance it doesn't then that would be why you are getting the message also. If still having issues you can request a call from support. They will be able to look at your account and see what
is going on.

When you go to Contact Us,follow these steps to request a call from support:

Step 1 ----select Xbox One
Step 2 ----select see other options then subscription changes
Step 3-----select show contact options

Step 4 ----select request call from support

Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you. Note that these options regularly change so just keep selecting something that gives request a call from support as a contact option.

Please try the following steps one at a time to resolve the issue:

Solution 1: Do a power cycle to clear the cache of the console

1. Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

3. Plug the console power cable back in.

4, Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox console.

Solution 2: Check for any pending game updates.

Go to “My Apps & Games”, select Mlb the Show 23, and press the more options button. From the list, select “Manage game & add-ons” and then “Updates”. Any updates will be available here.

Solution 3: Try to uninstall and reinstall the game

Solution 4: Do a factory reset

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select System > Settings > System > Console info.

3. Select Reset console.

4. Reset and keep my games & apps.
