    My games won't start


    More than half of my games on my wife's Xbox will not start. I am now starting to have problems with a few games on my Xbox and these are games that I have either had digital copies or physical copies of for over 2 years now. I have tried everything I
    could think of from resetting my Xbox to resyncing my data with the cloud and uninstalling and reinstalling games. For example I had a physical copy of Black ops 3 then when my brother took his copy I downloaded a digital copy and installed some add-ons. This
    was two years ago and for the past year-and-a-half I have not been able to play this game and many others. I keep getting the same error code and I have tried to use everything I can to let people know that I'm having this problem and so far I have had no
    luck in getting help. If anyone knows why this is happening please let me know and as soon as the Xbox support is available for contact I'm going to let them know as well because this is ridiculous as I have spent so much money over the past few years on games
    that I now cannot play. Thank you in advance.

    Step 1 ----Select Xbox One

    Thank you crystal. I have tried but it says that there is a service error when I try to request a call or make contact. I also dialed 1-800 for my Xbox and it just gave me the Xbox help website and hung up on me. I'm not sure how to get in contact with
    anybody but I figured I would let you know that I am having trouble getting a call back.

    All but two but i had the account that boughts them on my xbox amd for some reason it wasnt working. I mean this has been ongoing for almost 2 years. I am sliwly losing my abilty to play my games. It is starting on my xbox as well and i just loat the ability
    to play black ops 2. Idk if that is a whole separate reason or problem with the backwards compatibility but I'm just at a loss after so long of trying

    Hello Madman,

    We understand that there are game titles that you're unable to launch through your account, as you mention receiving an error code.

    What error code are you experiencing? Without this, we would not know the root cause to which further troubleshooting can be provided.

    Our suggestion for now, we recommend trying a power cycle
    of the console.

    If the problem persists, try doing a soft factory reset of the
    console    , Reset and keep games and apps to help reset the operating system. Please note before doing this troubleshooting step, make sure to know your email and passwords for your Xbox profiles.

    Try this out first and let us know the results.
