Is it possible you were game sharing with someone else. If there was a factory reset done on the console when you got it. It is possible the reset is where you keep games and apps. This would leave all the games on the console, but remove all profiles. Them
games you could of had access to, due to the home console was set to that console from previous owner. You may not have access to these as the previous owner may have switched home console to a different one.

… I purchased this Xbox used, however, I don't think that these are the original owner's games as there was a factory reset before (I can tell as when I first went to set it up it put me through the process of the factory reset) also there was nothing in
this section before I subscribed for 12 months Xbox live, hence why I think they gave the games to me, and finally, in the beginning, I was able to play "assassins creed black flag" ( one of the games which I thought was given to me) and there were no signs
of any saved data to this game, I was even able to play it fine (after an error message to that as well "make sure your signed in to Xbox live" or something like that) along with a few of the other games as well.

I would like to point out that any free game we give out has to be claimed by your profile. Xbox does not add games to your account. You have to physically select the game for download from the store, not from ready to install. You could even miss out on
free games if you don't do this.

I mean that I went to "my games and apps" section and in the installed area/ready to install area there was a list of games which I could download including the free games every week from gold as well as the game warframe the game I'm playing at the moment,
