My games that are on my storage device are being deleted and they will not come back.

Do you mean you're unable to reinstall your games using the same External storage after being deleted? If so, can you try connecting your external drive to a different console or device to test if it's still working?

So I went ahead and deleting the Cloud Storage Cache on my Xbox Hard Drive. Then I went to storage options and my Cloud Saved Games option in the Storage Devices screen said Cloud Storage was ready to be configured. When I clicked into that option it said
my Cloud Storage was currently disabled and my options were to enable it and disable it. I went ahead and enabled it, the screen looked like it loaded something, and then went back to my Storage Devices screen where it showed Cloud Saved Games to still have
the option of "Move or delete only". Thank you for the recommendation, Hassassinade.

I followed all the steps provided and launched the game again to see that all of the saves were still present. It did not resolve my issue. I have gone into the main screen under options>Account/storage>change storage device>

and found that ‘Cloud saved games’ is the only option. It would seem that the saves are not being made to my local storage device but to the cloud which is what my original question was about; how do I delete cloud saves? I do not have the option to delete any of these saves while in game or in the settings.

alright.. so i decided to delete my save game. i went into system settings, storage devices and deleted my halo savegame.

i start the game and all my progress is still there. went back into system settings - the save game has returned.

can anyone advise on how to get rid of it? i've tried deleting cache too

You can only delete an account from your storage device, but it will remain on the Live servers. To delete from your storage device, go to My Xbox, System Settings, Memory, select the device the profile is stored on, go to Profiles, and delete the profile
you want to delete.
