"My Games" category missing from Dashboard

I started up my Xbox360 this morning and tried to go to the "My Games" list but I discovered that its no longer there. Its suppose to be between "Social" and "Music" but for some reason it has been removed. Now the only way to access my downloaded games
that aren't pinned to the home page is by going through the Xbox Guide screen. I would really like to have the "my games" screen back on my dashboard but I don't know how to do that, nor do I know how it was removed to begin with. It was there two days ago.

Games missing from "My Games" tab

You can try and restart the Xbox and they should pop up. Sounds like it could be a glitch. If they still do not pop up you can always install them again.

Hi, Hoping someone can help. I recently moved some of my sons games from the internal memory to an installed HDD on his xbox 360. (HDD has been working fine). However now only 6 of his 34 games are showing in "my games". Any advice on how to resolve ? Thanks

 

You're not the only one with that problem. Same thing is happening to me and I would like to know what is going on too.

 

I have no Idea what is going on either and it's pissing me off, I was just about to buy some games way to go M$ not letting me give you money.

 

It happened to me as well. Thanks for reminding me that I can access games through the Guide screen.

 

Though it's the first time I've seen this it might be because they are updating the games category. It was working last night for me now it's gone this morning. Hopefully it will be back sometime today. I'll just wait and see what happens.

Well that ever it is it will only take them 5-10 hours to fix it.

 

I just found a service alert. They are aware of the games tab missing and they are working on it. I guessed it's a bit worse than what I thought. It's at support.xbox.com

 

Yea happened to me too. You can still access your installed games by searching for it under the Bing tab.

 

Just use the Xbox Guide to access games while service is restored. Hopefully it will be a quick fix.

 

well i just got a reply from xbox support on twitter they say they will be working on this ASAP
