My games are stained and do not install.

I have two games stained , Halo The Master Chief Collection and Forza Horizon 3. I bought them no more than a year ago and they got stained , i always took good care of them , they do not stay in hot and
cold places , because of the thermal shock , and it happened in a short time , i bought the game thinking that at least it would be 3 years to it wear off like that. Dvds of bands that stay in the same place of the games and this does not happen , and not
to mention that i do not take care of them like games. I have few games and the little that i have were all distributed by Microsoft , that is , exclusive. I do what now ? i do not want to lose my all games.

Is my disc fine?

I have read a couple of post form people with the same issue; the stained disc is technically faulty (as it shouldn’t be stained). If you have just bought the game I would take it back for a new copy just in case while you still have the chance i.e. usually
28 days in the UK.

 

When you say "stained" what do you mean? I understand what stained means don't get me wrong but I'm wondering in what way they are stained. Have you tried to clean them at all?

Try to open the game over and over again 'till It opens.

 

I was thinking about the Xbox One Game Disc Exchange Program Xbox One Game Disc Exchange | Microsoft Game Disc Exchange Program | Xbox One Console

But this sounds like damage done by neglect and would not meet the standards for a replacement. This program is for discs that didn't work right after getting them or they were damaged when you opened the case.

You will most likely have to buy the game discs again. Consider digital instead of a disc if you want to not use discs.
