    My Games & Apps crashing and stability issues


    Ever since I downloaded 360 games to my Xbox One (specifically Red Dead Redemption), I'm unable to access My Games & Apps without it crashing. None of the game tiles will load and after it crashes I'm unable to launch other games and apps unless I power
    cycle my console. I've tried to clear my local 360 storage under Settings > Storage, but it just gives me a black screen, then my console shuts down and reboots with all my 360 games still there. I've tried contacting Xbox support twice on the phone, both
    times the rep hung up on me with no call back, then once via online chat where I received an error that they were not able to connect me....?

    Can anyone shed some light on what's happening and how I can fix this?

    If you don't mind i'll add to this,

    You mentioned the console was replaced meaning it is brand new and was never apart of the program, meaning you cannot get it back unless 1) you re-install the app via my games & apps or 2) you get another invitation.

    Can you clarify can you play apps or is both games & apps crashing?

    here are a couple of solutions for you to try. Let me know if one of them fixes the problem for you.

    Solution 1- Hard reset. Hold power button on the front of the console until it turns off. Unplug console from wall outlet for a minute then plug back in and power back on and try the game again.

    Solution 2- Reset console. Go to settings, system, console and updates, reset console. Choose to keep everything and your console will restart. After it boots back up again you will do a quick set-up and sign back in. try your games and see if they work
    like normal again.

    My Xbox Fitness app keeps crashing in workouts as well. It is very frustrating to lose the progress, or get only 5-10 into a workout just to have it crash and work up the motivation to start over. Is there any update on improving Xbox Fitness stability?

    Didn't see it in the other posts, but the stability issues on Xbox One X seemed to have been addressed, but nothing concrete on what they did:

    Backend fixes to prevent crashes and increase stability–we’ll have to see if this helps poor Xbox One players who keep reporting crashes.
