My games & apps app won't open. Please help!

My games & apps app on my xbox one dashboard won't open. I checked my storage and it says 100% full. last time i checked it was 37% full. When i try to run my apps they won't launch and it says "We had trouble installing or updating this. Try installing
it again" How do open my games & apps app?

Hey Justin!

Whenever you see some quirky things like that pop up on your console, go ahead and quickly

power cycle it. This will hopefully bring your games and apps back, let us know if not and we'll dig more into that. As far as your Mortal Kombat game, check your "My games" section and if you still don't see it, double check your
Microsoft Commerce account to make sure the purchase went through.

If you don't see the purchase and/or have questions about it, you'll want to reach out to
phone or chat team and they can look things over with you.

Games & Apps won't load please help

Ok, so I started a download before I went to sleep, and the next day there was no notification saying that it finished, but in the top right it showed that nothing was installing; so I assumed the game had finished but there just wasn't a notification. So
I pressed A on games and apps but it just keeps showing a spinning loading wheel. It won't tell me how many games are installed, and same with the apps. I checked the ready to install section and it shows that mortal Kombat (the game I installed) isn't in
that section, and so I'm wondering did it break my Xbox? Do I need to do something? Should I call customer support or is there an easy fix for this that I'm just not getting. Thanks for any help!! You all have a wonderful day

For the moment you should exercise some patience. The devs are working to restore the xbox live service

 

are you serious, its been 3 days and its still not fixed. SMFH.. WTF IS THE PROBLEM?

Sorry to hear about game and app issues. As DangerousBard stated above, there was a service alert that may have cause the issues that you were experiencing.

If you are continuing to experience the issue, I recommend trying a few troubleshooting steps.

Please give the following steps a try:

• Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 5 seconds.
• Once your console powers off, unplug the power cord.
  
• Wait 5 minutes and then plug in your console.
• Power on your console and try loading a game or app.

Give the suggested steps a shot and let us know how it goes.

 

This is not a temporary problem. Games and Apps not loading is a constant issue on xbone. I still need to hard reset my xbone everyday to get anything to load. wtf Microsoft?

 

There are loads of threads of this nature, all variations on the same problem. Microsoft won't even acknowledge the issue, let alone fix it!
