My games and apps don't work

Are you able to detect your external hard drive on your console at all? If you can, then your next bet would probably be formatting this drive, to see if this helps with being able to detect it.

Alternatively, before you try this, there is an article that cover how to
troubleshoot external storage detection on your console that may have some tips to assist you with addressing this before you format this drive.

Keep in mind that if you are unable to get this to be detected via your console, you may need to connect it to a PC in order for you to be able to format this drive, and then proceed to use it on your console.

Thank you for reply, after resetting my console I realized every game and app stored on my harddrive won't work and i can't install games on my harddrive but the issue seems to be my harddrive, which is a Xbox harddrive. Not sure if you guys can still
help me or recommend who i can ask for help.

Unfortunately formatting the drive did not help, i i even tried the troubleshoot suggestions. The hard drive can be detected. Seems to affect me signing in and accessing other stuff like settings. My only work around is unplugging the harddrive and plugging
it back. Just to note, my xbox is fine, i tried using it without the harddrive connected but once i connect the harddrive thats when it'll act up. The hard drive shouldn't be damaged, it stays in one play and ive never dropped, also havnt had it for a year
yet.
