"My Games and Apps" crashes Xbox One

Recently, my Xbox One original (out of warranty, and only been mine and not secondhand) is crashing to a black screen when I open the Games and Apps section of the Xbox. This only happens when my system is online. When I switch to offline mode, I'm able to access games and apps (there is currently only one I've installed). I am able to return to the home screen and out of the black screen by pressing the home button on my controller and clicking "Home" at the top of the menu. I have done every fix that I can find online short of removing the hard drive and putting a new one in (additionally, the hard drive is still quiet with no grinding, clicking, or loud spin-ups). I have done the soft reset, hard factory reset, the memory stick troubleshooting mode, the offline system update tool. Nothing seems to be working.

As a note: the system allows me to play games without any errors, and if I have a shortcut visible on the homepage I can boot a game. Problem is: I'm not able to create shortcuts to games without getting into the Games and Apps section. Any guidance anyone in the community can provide for me would be quite welcome. I'm at the end of my rope and I cannot afford to buy a new Xbox.

It all seems like an OS issue, and the MS forums seem to show that I am far from the only one experiencing this!

The youtube app on my xbox one isn't working. I start the app and it immediately crashes.

Update: These crashes only seem to be happening with the NHL app on Xbox One, but not Xbox 360. I've turned on my old Xbox 360 and have been able to watch that same feed just fine without the application crashing back to the home screen.

On the Xbox One the NHL App crashes back to my home screen after a couple of minutes of watching.

I utilize a Xbox One X console. It just occurred again. That makes 4 times today! It simply suddenly appears during the gaming session and crashes the game in the process. How does one disable that microsoft edge app? Attempted to remove it entirely, but there was no option offered to do so. Have never even launched that app, yet now it is crashing my game!

Now it says KMODE Exception not handled. I think it is a problem with the app. When I launch them from the windows store they crash as well. All my games load fine besides the ones I download from the Xbox beta app. Any game I download from the Xbox or
Xbox Game Pass crashes when loading. Any free game I download from the Microsoft Store runs fine.
