    My Gamertag Won't Change


    Okay so I wanted to change my gamertag on the xbox 360 and I chnaged it but I got the error code 80153051, and then I got an email that I got a billing conformation for my gamertag change but it didn't change, so i tried again and the exact same thing happened.

    Hi,

    Please read my comment and you will know why, the system won't care about spacing but the same gamertag i.e. you change your gamertag and I won't be able to find it or use it to change mine to your "old".

    it is the tf as it is an abreviation for something else, just tried with a completely different name and placed tf first and went straight to not allowed, removed tf and it was ok.

    you will need to change that, microsoft wont change.

    Heya. It can usually take up to 48 hours for your gamertag to appear in all places, console too.

    Restart your Xbox when its been 48 hours and if it hasn't worked then, you may need to hard reboot your Xbox so the sync can happen properly.

    To hard reset on your Xbox one, hold your power button while the consoles on, for 8-10 seconds then it'll turn off. Unplug your power bank, then wait 10 minutes, then plug everything on again and it should change
