    My gamertag was changed for no reason


    My gamertag was "[Mod Removed]", and just now I received an e-mail saying "This email is to notify you that your Xbox Live Gamertag has been determined to be inappropriate." Why? Is "[Mod Removed]" that offensive?
    Why? Now it'll cost me money to change it because they named something random. Why is this happening?

    Just to check, it's still your account right? Your gamerscore, your saved games and the like?

    Hi mate, I would check the email that is associated with your gamertag and see if you were issued a forced name change

    You could also check to see if a purchase for the change was made on your account here:
