My Gamertag Was changed by Ambassador...Why????

hello,

My name is [Mod Removed] and I recently noticed that my gamertag had been changed; I was told that it was not a hack... rather it was an ambassador who changed it. Now in order for me to change it back I need to pay $10.

I do not currently have access to an xbox, but i would like to change my gamertag back from to Mikethehunter16. Would you be able to change it back free of charge?

Why would I need to pay when the tag was changed by an ambassador for most likely security purposes.

*Note, when the gamertag was changed, I did not receive an email about it explaining why because I have deleted the email account associated to my xbox live account 3 years ago. After the tag was changed I found that I was able to change my email to my current
one... a Gmail. I am hoping that you will be able to provide me with an explanation as well as fix this issue free of charge.

ok i think u r right the haters (gamers who lost against me!im no 10 in rumble pit halo3 in the world ) are the evil ones not ms they had no other way to chalenge me, my real tag [Mod removed] is nothing offensive i think... ... but praying to pyramids and
to the one eyed devil is also evil...think about it superhugmonky!!!

My gamertag was changed by a hacker

If that was your original gamertag then i suspect you have been given a forced name change as it violates the code of conduct.

You will have to pay to change it to something else,one that doesn't violate the code of conduct this time.

Any more fnc's & you risk having your account suspended or banned.

No Ambassador has the ability to change your gamertag, the only people who have the ability are the XBox Enforcement Team. Your gamertag was found in violation of the Terms of Use/Code of Conduct. Your tag was reported and thus changed by them. The decisions
of the Enforcement Team are final, they do not monitor these forums.

Yes that's correct but I can't actually access the Ambassador section because I changed my gamertag. In the past whenever an Ambassador changed his/her gamertag they needed to inform the Ambassador staff (or by email) so their profile could be updated within
their system.

Maybe that's changed now as I haven't been on for a couple of months however, I could be wrong.
